The spacecraft, located 15 billion miles (24 billion kilometers) from Earth in interstellar space, had its issue traced to the flight data subsystem (FDS), which packages data for transmission. 5.OpenAI CEO says company could become for-profit corporation, report says

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman

OpenAI, the organization behind ChatGPT, is reportedly contemplating a major change in its governance structure. CEO Sam Altman has informed some shareholders that the company may transition to a for-profit business model, moving away from control by its current nonprofit board. One possible structure under consideration is a "for-profit benefit corporation," akin to those used by competitors Anthropic and xAI.
